It's all mental

Roger Federer

Listen to the great master Roger Federer explaining about his mental focus after winning the Australian open.

He has the courage, over and over again, to look in the mirror and challenge himself to believe and enjoy playing point for point, no matter what.

If the other player is too good, they are too good, he doesn't get down on himself. This is acceptance at it's highest form.

Realizing that 'it's ok to lose' as long as you give your all is his message.

Winning from yourself is more important than winning from the opponent

You can learn to focus in this way too.

It takes time and effort, but it's incredibly rewarding and will bring you so much more than frustration, anger and self doubt.
